In advanced societies there is a clear awareness of protection of the environment and public health, and it is Poly-Klyn firm commitment to protect them.
Our self-standing lavatories contribute to this protection, through adequate treatment of fecal matter, in those temporary or permanent locations where it is not possible to provide systems connected to the public sewage network.
Poly-Klyn has obtained, through the relevant agencies and administrations,* the required permits to carry out the treatment of water waste resulting from the use of our lavatories.
Likewise, our vehicles are approved and comply with the regulations for transporting non-dangerous waste.
Poly-Klyn actively collaborates in the preservation of the most valued natural resource: water, an asset which is more and more limited. And we achieve this thanks to the internal recirculation, pumping and filtration system of our self-standing lavatories, which, combined with the use of biodegradable disinfectant, avoids repeated consumption of water, which occurs in WCs with traditional cisterns.
You can get a clear example of how you save water with our lavatories by comparing the litres used by a self-standing Poly-KlynWC (with a tank prepared for 750 uses), and a conventional WC for an equal number of uses (or occasions in which we "flush the toilet"):
| conventional WC | self-standing Poly-Klyn WC | |
| Tank capacity | 8 litres of water (each use) | 25 litres of water + 1 litre neutralising liquid |
| Uses | 750 | 750 |
| Total litres of water dumped | 6.000 | 25 |
